Poker bits

Well, yesterday was a break even sort of day. I did not have the best of timing. I got knocked out of the deep stack tournament when I held KK against J9s, which of course he limped with and then called my raise with. This particular player was a very loose caller and could limp and call any and all raises. The flop came 39J with two clubs so I bet the pot to protect my hand. He min reraised me, which made me think. I figured it was time to move as the average stack was 14k and I would hae 4k if I folded. Not insurmountable, but this guy could have any two clubs, a J or a 9, so I pushed all in and yes he had J9 and I was drawing thin and out.

I did better taking 2nd in a SNG later which was nice, and then in the night cap I had AT on a short stack when I pushed and the other short stack called me with A5s which I was totally happy with because I should double up off of a bad call, but then the 5 hit and he sucked out on me, oh, well. You can't get to upset when this happens, because we want people calling us with Ace - rag. All we can do is make the right decisions and hope the cards reward us.

I feel that over the last week I have easily gotten my money in with the best of it over 75% of the time. My time at PokerXfactor.com has really been paying off. The insights that I have learned on that site have been priceless to my education and game. The sky is the limit before I am Final tabling on a regular consistent basis.

I am playing in the Deep stack Sunday tourney at the moment. Hopefully, today we will get some cards to play and be able to make some moves along the way.
