Welcome

This is my first blog and I want to say thank you for stopping by. I just got knocked out of the $4.40 180 man PS tourney. It is always sad when you get all your money in with the best hand and someone who raised with a subpar hand decides to call off a huge chunk of their stack and then sucks out on the river, but so close to a great double-up, instead out 15th.

I don't think that I will play the $4.40 anymore as when you do money there just isn't enough ROI, unless you finish 1st.

I did achieve my first final table this week. I played a $2.20 MTT just to practice and ended up finishing 5th, which was great. Not bad getting $100 for a $2 dollar investment. If only it had been a $20 event. Well, that dream is there and well beyond.

I feel very confident that my game is rising to higher and higher levels each day. I would estimate that I have gotten my money in with the best hand 80% of the time the last week and have made fewer and fewer mistakes. If it were not for 4 hands that I played late in the deep stack $20 the other night I think I would have monied in that tourney, but live and learn.

And to all of you out there that call off 40% of your stack with 55, please, don't stop. lol
